MIS has overseen their client network grow from five simple clinics and 35 employees to over 55 locations and 200 employees, assisting with their expansion needs every step of the way.
Solution
MIS designed and deployed a VMware Horizon View installation for RKM Primary Care.
This allows our client a safe, effective, and secure Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI). No patient data is ever located in the field, at any of their remote offices.
RKM needed an ability to have a large number of small satellite offices.
MIS chose Cisco Meraki and its security appliance utilizing the MX100 and the Z1 series. The implemented devices create safe, secure site-to-site VPN tunnels that allow the encrypted transmission of all data. MIS provides RKM with IPS technology, malware and other advances security services natively in the MX series.
MIS migrated their traditional PBX to a Jive cloud-based PBX.
The PBX cloud upgrade has enabled the organization to expand to 300 handsets spread across 55 different locations throughout seven parishes in Louisiana.
Due to the flexibility of the cloud product, the system allows RKM to seamlessly deploy phones to any location, regardless of existing infrastructure, which led to savings of thousands of dollars that a budget for a traditional system would have required.
